Do we really know how magnificent God is?

Scripture tells us what we need to know.

7 He stretcheth out

the north

the empty place,

and hangeth

the earth

upon nothing.

8 He bindeth up

the waters

in his thick clouds;

and the cloud

is not rent

under them.

9 He holdeth back

the face

of his throne,

and spreadeth

his cloud

upon it.

10 He hath compassed

the waters

with bounds,

until the day

and night

to an end.

11 The pillars of heaven tremble

and are astonished

at his reproof.

12 He divideth

the sea

with his power,

and by his understanding

he smiteth through

the proud.

13 By his spirit

he hath garnished

the heavens;

his hand

hath formed

the crooked serpent.

14 Lo, these are

parts of his ways:

but how little

a portion

is heard

of him?

but the thunder

of his power

who can understand?

Job 26:7-14 (King James Version)

3 Great is the LORD,

and greatly

to be praised;

and his greatness

is unsearchable.

4 One generation

shall praise

thy works

to another,

and shall declare

thy mighty acts.

5 I will speak

of the glorious honour

of thy majesty, and

of thy wondrous works.

Psalm 145:3-5 (King James Version)

12 He hath made

the earth

by his power,

he hath established

the world

by his wisdom,

and hath stretched out

the heavens

by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice,

there is a multitude

of waters

in the heavens,

and he causeth

the vapours

to ascend

from the ends

of the earth;

he maketh lightnings

with rain,

and bringeth forth

the wind

out of his treasures.

Jeremiah 10:12-13 (King James Version)

4 He telleth

the number

of the stars;

he calleth them all

by their names.

5 Great

is our Lord,

and of great power:

his understanding

is infinite.

Psalm 147:4-5 (King James Version)

13 Let every soul

be subject

unto the higher powers.

For there is no power

but of God:

the powers

that be

are ordained

of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth

the power,

the ordinance

of God:

and they

that resist

shall receive

to themselves

Why Did JESUS Love Sinners?

Scripture says we are all sinners.

But why does JESUS love us, still?

17 When Jesus heard it,

he saith unto them,

that are whole

have no need

of the physician,

but they

that are sick:

I came not

to call

the righteous,

but sinners

to repentance.

Mark 2:15-17 (King James Version)

More on the LORD's love for us in these verses:

16 For God

so loved

the world,

that he gave

his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth

in him

should not perish,

but have

everlasting life.

John 3:16 (King James Version)

29 My Father,

which gave them me,

is greater

than all;

and no man

is able

to pluck them out

of my Father's hand.

John 10:29 (King James Version)

37 All

that the Father

giveth me

shall come

to me;

and him

that cometh

to me

I will

in no wise

cast out.

38 For I came down

from heaven,

not to do

mine own will,

but the will

of him

that sent me.

39 And this

is the Father's will

which hath sent me,

that of all

which he hath

given me

I should lose

but should raise it up

again at

the last day.

40 And this

is the will

of him

that sent me,

that every one

which seeth

the Son,

and believeth

on him,

may have

everlasting life:

and I will

raise him up at

the last day.

John 6:37-40 (King James Version)

15 Then drew near

unto him

all the publicans

and sinners

for to hear him.

2 And the Pharisees

and scribes murmured, saying,

This man

receiveth sinners,

and eateth

with them.

3 And he spake this parable

unto them, saying,

4 What man of you,

having an hundred sheep,

if he lose one of them,

doth not leave

the ninety and nine

in the wilderness,

and go after that

which is lost,

until he find it?

5 And when

he hath found it,

he layeth it

on his shoulders,

6 And when he

cometh home,

he calleth together

his friends

and neighbours,

saying unto them,

Rejoice with me;

for I have found

my sheep

which was lost.

7 I say unto you,

that likewise

joy shall be

in heaven

over one sinner

that repenteth,

more than over

ninety and nine just persons,

which need

no repentance.

Luke 15:1-7 (King James Version)

15 And it came to pass, that,

as Jesus sat

at meat

in his house,

many publicans

and sinners

sat also together

with Jesus

and his disciples:

for there were many,

and they followed

16 And when the scribes

and Pharisees

saw him eat

with publicans

and sinners,

they said unto

his disciples,

How is it

that he eateth

and drinketh

with publicans

and sinners?

17 When Jesus heard it,

he saith unto them,

that are whole

have no need

of the physician,

but they

that are sick:

I came

not to call

the righteous,

but sinners

to repentance.

Mark 2:15-17 (King James Version)

23 For the wages of sin

is death;

but the gift

of God

is eternal life

through Jesus Christ

our Lord.

Romans 6:23 (King James Version)

39 Search

the scriptures;

for in them

ye think

ye have

eternal life:

and they

are they

which testify

of me.

John 5:39 (King James Version)

8 But God commendeth

his love

toward us,

in that,

while we

were yet sinners,

Christ died

for us.

Romans 5:8 (King James Version)

2 And he is

the propitiation

for our sins:

and not

for ours only,

but also

for the sins

of the whole

1 John 2:2 (King James Version)

10 As it is written,

There is none righteous,

not one:

Romans 3:10 (King James Version)

23 For all

have sinned,

and come short

of the glory

of God;

Romans 3:23 King James Version (KJV)

15 Ye judge after

the flesh;

I judge

no man.

16 And yet

if I judge,

my judgment

is true:

for I am

not alone,

but I

and the Father

that sent

The POWER of GOD Over Nations

How much do you know of GOD's power over nations, kings, rulers, and over every being He created?

Let Scripture tell you, in no uncertain terms.

1 In the beginning

God created

the heaven

and the earth.

Genesis 1:1 (King James Version)

26 And God said,

Let us

make man

in our image,

after our likeness:

and let them

have dominion

over the fish

of the sea,

and over the fowl

of the air,

and over the cattle,

and over all

the earth,

and over

every creeping thing

that creepeth upon

the earth.

27 So God

created man

in his own image,

in the image

of God

created he him;

and female

created he

28 And God

blessed them,

and God said

unto them,

Be fruitful,

and multiply,

and replenish

the earth,

and subdue it

and have dominion

over the fish

of the sea,

and over the fowl

of the air,

and over every living thing

that moveth

upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26-28 (King James Version)

13 Let every soul

be subject unto

the higher powers.

For there is

no power

but of God:

the powers that be

are ordained

of God.

Romans 13:1 (King James Version)

21 Have ye not known?

have ye not heard?

hath it not been told you

from the beginning?

have ye not understood

from the foundations

of the earth?

22 It is he

that sitteth

upon the circle

of the earth

and the inhabitants thereof

are as grasshoppers;

that stretcheth out

the heavens

as a curtain,

and spreadeth them out

as a tent

to dwell in:

23 That bringeth

the princes

to nothing;

he maketh

the judges

of the earth

as vanity.

24 Yea, they shall

not be planted;

yea, they shall

not be sown:

yea, their stock shall

not take root

in the earth:

and he shall also blow

upon them,

and they shall wither,

and the whirlwind shall

take them away

as stubble.

Isaiah 40:21-24 (King James Version)

15 Behold,

the nations

are as a drop

of a bucket,

and are counted

as the small dust

of the balance:

he taketh up the isles

as a very little thing.

Isaiah 40:15 (King James Version)

24 The earth

is the Lord's,

and the fulness thereof;

the world,

and they

that dwell

Psalm 24:1 (King James Version)

28 For the kingdom

is the Lord's:

and he is the governor

the nations.

Psalm 22:28 (King James Version)

17 All nations before him

are as nothing;

and they are counted to him

less than nothing,

and vanity.

Isaiah 40:17 (King James Version)

18 And Jesus came

and spake unto them, saying,

All power

is given

unto me

in heaven

and in earth.

Matthew 28:18 (King James Version)

12 With the ancient

is wisdom;

and in length of days

13 With him

is wisdom and strength,

he hath counsel

and understanding.

14 Behold,

he breaketh down,

and it cannot be built again:

he shutteth up a man,

and there can be

no opening.

15 Behold,

he withholdeth the waters,

and they dry up:

also he sendeth them out,

and they overturn

the earth.

16 With him

is strength and wisdom:

the deceived

and the deceiver

are his.

17 He leadeth counsellors away spoiled,

and maketh the judges fools.

18 He looseth the bond

of kings,

and girdeth their loins

with a girdle.

19 He leadeth princes away spoiled,

and overthroweth the mighty.

20 He removeth away

the speech of the trusty,

and taketh away

the understanding

of the aged.

21 He poureth contempt

upon princes,

and weakeneth the strength

of the mighty.

22 He discovereth deep things

out of darkness,

and bringeth out

to light

the shadow

of death.

23 He increaseth the nations,

and destroyeth them:

he enlargeth the nations,

and straiteneth them

24 He taketh away

the heart

of the chief

of the people

of the earth,

and causeth them

to wander

in a wilderness

where there

is no way.

25 They grope

in the dark

without light,

and he maketh them

to stagger

like a drunken man.

Job 12:12-25 (King James Version)

21 The king's heart

is in the hand

of the Lord,

as the rivers

of water:

he turneth it

whithersoever he will.

Proverbs 21:1 (King James Version)

14 If my people,

which are called

by my name,

shall humble themselves,

and pray,

and seek my face,

and turn

from their wicked ways;

then will I hear

from heaven,

and will forgive

their sin

and will heal

their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (King James Version)

17 This matter

is by the decree

of the watchers,

and the demand

by the word

of the holy ones:

to the intent

that the living

may know that

the most High

in the kingdom

of men

and giveth it

to whomsoever he will,

and setteth up

over it

the basest of men.

Daniel 4:17 (King James Version)

15 By me kings reign,

and princes decree justice.

Proverbs 8:15 (King James Version)

3 How great

are his signs!

and how mighty

are his wonders!

his kingdom

is an everlasting kingdom,

and his dominion

is from generation

to generation.

Daniel 4:3 (King James Version)

19 And what

is the exceeding greatness

of his power

to us-ward

who believe,

according to the working

of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought

in Christ,

when he raised him

from the dead,

and set him

at his own right hand

in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality,

and power,

and might,

and dominion,

and every name

that is named,

not only in this world,

but also

in that

which is to come:

22 And hath put

all things

under his feet,

and gave him

to be the head

over all things

to the church,

23 Which is his body,

the fulness of him

that filleth

all in all.

Ephesians 1:19-23 (King James Version)

21 There are many devices

in a man's heart;

the counsel

of the Lord,

that shall stand.

Proverbs 19:21 (King James Version)

18 O thou king,

the most high God

gave Nebuchadnezzar

thy father

a kingdom,

and majesty,

and glory,

and honour:

19 And for the majesty

that he gave him,

all people,

and languages,

and feared

before him:

whom he would

he slew;

and whom he would

he kept alive;

and whom he would

he set up;

and whom he would

he put down.

20 But when his heart

was lifted up,

and his mind hardened

in pride,

he was deposed

from his kingly throne,

and they took

his glory

from him:

21 And he was driven

from the sons

of men;

and his heart

was made

like the beasts,

and his dwelling

was with the wild asses:

they fed him

with grass

like oxen,

and his body

was wet

with the dew

of heaven;

till he knew

that the most high God ruled

in the kingdom

of men

and that he appointeth

over it

whomsoever he will.

Daniel 5:18-21 (King James Version)

9 Who knoweth not

in all these

that the hand

of the Lord

hath wrought this?

10 In whose hand

is the soul

of every living thing,

and the breath

of all mankind.

Job 12:9-10 (King James Version)

2 I am the Lord

thy God,

which have brought thee

out of the land

of Egypt,

out of the house

of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have

no other gods

before me.

4 Thou shalt not make

unto thee

any graven image,

or any likeness

of any thing

that is in heaven

or that is in the earth

or that is in the water

under the earth.

5 Thou shalt

not bow down thyself

to them,

nor serve them:

the Lord

thy God

am a jealous God,

visiting the iniquity

of the fathers

upon the children

unto the third

and fourth generation

of them

that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy

unto thousands

of them

that love me,

and keep

my commandments.

Exodus 20:2-6 (King James Version)

15 Love not

the world,

neither the things

that are

in the world.

If any man

love the world,

the love

of the Father

is not

in him.

16 For all

that is

in the world,

the lust

of the flesh,

and the lust

of the eyes,

and the pride

of life,

is not

of the Father,

but is

of the world.

1 John 2:15-16 (King James Version)

10 Be wise now therefore,

O ye kings:

be instructed,

ye judges

of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord

with fear,

and rejoice

with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son,

lest he be angry,

and ye perish

from the way,

when his wrath

is kindled

but a little.

Blessed are all they

that put their trust

in him.
