What is the SEAL of the HOLY SPIRIT?

I had no idea.

So I searched SCRIPTURE.

And here's what Scripture had to say:

Ephesians 1:13 (King James Version)

13 In whom

ye also trusted,

after that

ye heard

the word

of truth,

the gospel

of your salvation:

in whom also

after that

ye believed,

ye were sealed

with that holy Spirit

of promise,

Ephesians 4:30 (KJV)

30 And grieve not

the holy Spirit

of God,

whereby ye

are sealed

unto the day

of redemption.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (KJV)

21 Now he

which stablisheth us

with you

in Christ,

and hath anointed us,

is God;

22 Who hath

also sealed us,

and given

the earnest

of the Spirit

in our hearts.

2 Corinthians 5:5 (KJV)

5 Now he

that hath wrought us

for the selfsame thing

is God,

who also

hath given

unto us

the earnest

of the Spirit.

John 6:27 (KJV)

27 Labour not

for the meat

which perisheth,

but for that meat

which endureth

unto everlasting life,

which the Son

of man

shall give

unto you:

for him

hath God

the Father

sealed.

Revelation 7:3-4 (KJV)

3 Saying,

Hurt not the earth,

neither the sea,

nor the trees,

till we

have sealed

the servants

of our God

in their foreheads.

4 And I heard

the number

of them

which were sealed:

and there were sealed

an hundred

and forty

and four thousand

of all the tribes

of the children

of Israel.

Revelation 9:4 (KJV)

4 And it

was commanded them

that they

should not hurt

the grass

of the earth,

neither any green thing,

neither any tree;

but only those men

which have not

the seal

of God

in their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1 (KJV)

14 And I looked,

and, lo,

a Lamb stood

on the mount Sion,

and with him

an hundred forty

and four thousand,

having his Father's name

written

in their foreheads.

Revelation 22:4 (KJV)

4 And they

shall see

his face;

and his name

shall be

in their foreheads.

Isaiah 42:1 (KJV)

42 Behold my servant,

whom I uphold;

mine elect,

in whom

my soul delighteth;

I have put

my spirit

upon him

he shall bring forth

judgment to the Gentiles.

What Did GOD Command PARENTS and CHILDREN to Do?

God is precise.

Nothing could be more precise than what He commanded parents and children to do, very early on in the Bible.

What GOD commands PARENTS to do:

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 (King James Version)

5 And thou

shalt love

the Lord

thy God

with all

thine heart,

and with all

thy soul,

and with all

thy might.

6 And these words,

which I

command thee

this day,

shall be

in thine heart:

7 And thou

shalt teach them

diligently

unto thy children,

and shalt talk

of them

when thou

sittest

in thine house,

and when thou

walkest

by the way,

and when thou

liest down,

and when thou

risest up.

What GOD commands CHILDREN to do:

Exodus 20:12 (King James Version)

12 Honour

thy father

and thy mother:

that thy days

may be long

upon the land

which the Lord

thy God

giveth thee.

What Does FEAR the LORD Really Mean?

What does it really mean when the Bible says, "Fear the Lord"?

As always, Scripture is precise, and you will understand clearly through these verses:

Proverbs 8:13 (King James Version)

13 The fear of the Lord

is to hate evil:

pride,

and arrogancy,

and the evil way,

and the froward mouth,

do I hate.

Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV)

12 And now, Israel,

what doth the Lord

thy God

require of thee,

but to fear

the Lord

thy God

to walk

in all his ways,

and to love him,

and to serve the Lord

thy God

with all

thy heart

and with all

thy soul,

Deuteronomy 13:4 (KJV)

4 Ye

shall walk

after the Lord

your God,

and fear him

and keep his commandments,

and obey

his voice,

and ye

shall serve him,

and cleave

unto him.

Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)

7 The fear

of the Lord

is the beginning

of knowledge

but fools

despise wisdom

and instruction.

Proverbs 2:5 (KJV)

5 Then

shalt thou understand

the fear

of the Lord,

and find

the knowledge

of God.

Proverbs 3:7 (KJV)

7 Be not wise

in thine own eyes:

fear the Lord,

and depart

from evil.

Proverbs 10:27 (KJV)

27 The fear

of the Lord

prolongeth days

but the years

of the wicked

shall be shortened.

of the Lord

is strong confidence:

and his children

shall have

a place

of refuge.

27 The fear

of the Lord

is a fountain

of life

to depart

from the snares

of death.

Proverbs 19:23 (KJV)

23 The fear

of the Lord

tendeth to life

and he

that hath it

shall abide

satisfied

he shall

not be visited

with evil.

Proverbs 23:17 (KJV)

17 Let not thine heart envy sinners:

but be thou

in the fear

of the Lord

all the day long.

Job 28:28 (KJV)

28 And unto man he said,

Behold,

the fear

of the Lord,

that is wisdom

and to depart

from evil

is understanding.

Psalm 19:9 (KJV)

9 The fear

of the Lord

is clean,

enduring for ever

the judgments

of the Lord

are true

and righteous

altogether.

14 The secret

of the Lord

is with them

that fear him;

fear the Lord

let all the inhabitants

thy way,

O Lord;

I will walk

in thy truth:

unite my heart

to fear

thy name.

Psalm 112:1 (KJV)

112 Praise ye

the Lord.

Blessed is the man

that feareth

the Lord,

that delighteth greatly

in his commandments.

Isaiah 33:6 (KJV)

6 And wisdom

and knowledge

shall be

the stability

of thy times,

and strength

of salvation:

the fear

of the Lord

is his treasure.

Luke 1:50 (KJV)

50 And his mercy

is on them

that fear him

from generation

to generation.

James 2:19 (KJV)

19 Thou believest

that there is

one God;

thou doest well:

the devils also believe,

and tremble.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)

13 Let us hear

the conclusion

of the whole matter:

Fear God,

and keep

his commandments:

for this

is the whole duty

of man.

How to WALK with JESUS

We all know there is a great urgency to live right by God.

The Lord JESUS showed us how.

Allow me to share with you a MAGNIFICENT find today -- a chapter in Scripture that can be a clear, and comforting guidepost, on how we are to conduct ourselves, and become pleasing in the eyes of God.

3 If ye then

be risen with Christ,

seek those things

which are above

where Christ sitteth

on the right hand

of God.

2 Set your affection

on things above,

not on things

on the earth.

3 For ye are dead,

and your life

is hid

with Christ

in God.

4 When Christ,

who is our life,

shall appear,

then shall ye

also appear

with him

in glory.

5 Mortify therefore

your members

which are

upon the earth

fornication,

uncleanness,

inordinate affection,

evil concupiscence,

and covetousness,

which is idolatry:

6 For which things' sake

the wrath of God

cometh

on the children

of disobedience:

7 In the which ye

also walked

some time,

when ye lived

in them.

8 But now ye also

put off all these;

anger,

wrath,

malice,

blasphemy,

filthy communication

 out of your mouth.

9 Lie not

one to another,

seeing that ye

have put off

the old man

with his deeds;

10 And have put on

the new man,

which is renewed

in knowledge

after the image

of him

that created him:

11 Where there is

neither Greek

nor Jew,

circumcision

nor uncircumcision,

Barbarian,

Scythian,

bond

nor free:

but Christ is all,

and in all.

12 Put on therefore,

as the elect of God,

holy and beloved,

bowels of mercies

kindness,

humbleness of mind,

meekness,

longsuffering;

13 Forbearing one another,

and forgiving one another

if any man

have a quarrel

against any:

even as Christ forgave you,

so also do ye.

14 And above all these things

put on charity

which is the bond

of perfectness.

15 And let the peace

of God

rule

in your hearts

to the which also

ye are called

in one body;

and be ye thankful.

16 Let the word

of Christ

dwell in you richly

in all wisdom

teaching

and admonishing

one another

in psalms

and hymns

and spiritual songs,

singing with grace

in your hearts

to the Lord.

17 And whatsoever ye do

in word

or deed,

do all

in the name

of the Lord Jesus

giving thanks

to God

and the Father

by him.

18 Wives,

submit yourselves

unto your own husbands

as it is fit

in the Lord.

19 Husbands,

love your wives

and be

not bitter against them.

20 Children,

obey your parents

in all things

for this is well pleasing

unto the Lord.

21 Fathers,

provoke not

your children

to anger

lest they

be discouraged.

22 Servants,

obey in all things

your masters

according to

the flesh

not with eyeservice,

as menpleasers;

but in singleness

of heart,

fearing God;

23 And whatsoever ye do,

do it heartily,

as to the Lord,

and not unto men;

24 Knowing that

of the Lord

ye shall receive

the reward

of the inheritance:

for ye serve

the Lord Christ.

25 But he that doeth wrong

shall receive

for the wrong

which he hath done:

and there is no respect

of persons.

Colossians 3 (King James Version)

3. Put off anger, malice, blasphemy.

4. Forgive one another.

8. Let the word of Christ dwell in you.
