What is the SEAL of the HOLY SPIRIT?

I had no idea.

So I searched SCRIPTURE.

And here's what Scripture had to say:

Ephesians 1:13

King James Version

13 In whom ye also trusted,

after that ye heard

the word of truth,

the gospel of your salvation

in whom also after that ye believed,

ye were sealed with that holy Spirit

of promise,

Ephesians 4:30

King James Version

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God

whereby ye are sealed unto the day

of redemption.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

King James Version

21 Now he which stablisheth us with you

in Christ,

and hath anointed us,

is God;

22 Who hath also sealed us,

and given the earnest

of the Spirit in our hearts.

2 Corinthians 5:5

King James Version

5 Now he that hath wrought us

for the selfsame thing is God

who also hath given unto us

the earnest of the Spirit.

John 6:27

King James Version

27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth,

but for that meat which endureth

unto everlasting life,

which the Son of man shall give unto you:

for him hath God the Father

sealed.

Revelation 7:3-4

King James Version

3 Saying

Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees,

till we have sealed the servants of our God

in their foreheads.

4 And I heard the number of them

which were sealed

and there were sealed an hundred

and forty and four thousand

of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation 9:4

King James Version

4 And it was commanded them

that they should not hurt

the grass of the earth,

neither any green thing,

neither any tree

but only those men which have not

the seal of God in their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1

King James Version

14 And I looked,

and, lo

a Lamb stood on the mount Sion,

and with him an hundred forty and four thousand,

having his Father's name written

in their foreheads.

Revelation 22:4

King James Version

4 And they shall see his face

and his name shall be

in their foreheads.

Isaiah 42:1

King James Version

42 Behold my servant,

whom I uphold;

mine elect,

in whom my soul delighteth

I have put my spirit upon him

he shall bring forth judgment

to the Gentiles.

What Did GOD Command PARENTS and CHILDREN to Do?

God is precise.

Nothing could be more precise than what He commanded parents and children to do, very early on in the Bible.

What GOD commands PARENTS to do:

Deuteronomy 6:5-7

King James Version

5 And thou shalt love

the Lord thy God

with all thine heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy might.

6 And these words,

which I command thee

this day,

shall be in thine heart:

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently

unto thy children,

and shalt talk of them

when thou sittest in thine house,

and when thou walkest by the way,

and when thou liest down,

and when thou risest up.

What GOD commands CHILDREN to do:

Exodus 20:12

King James Version

12 Honour thy father

and thy mother:

that thy days may be long upon the land

which the Lord thy God

giveth thee.

What Does FEAR the LORD Really Mean?

What does it really mean when the Bible says, "Fear the Lord"?

As always, Scripture is precise, and you will understand clearly through these verses:

Proverbs 8:13

King James Version

13 The fear of the Lord

is to hate evil:

pride,

and arrogancy,

and the evil way,

and the froward mouth,

do I hate.

Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV)

12 And now, Israel,

what doth the Lord thy God require of thee,

but to fear the Lord thy God

and to love him,

and to serve the Lord thy God

with all thy heart

and with all thy soul,

Deuteronomy 13:4 (KJV)

your God,

and fear him

and keep his commandments,

and obey his voice,

Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)

7 The fear of the Lord

is the beginning of knowledge

is a fountain of life

to depart from the snares

and he that hath it

shall abide satisfied

he shall not be visited

with evil.

17 Let not thine heart envy sinners:

but be thou in the fear of the Lord

all the day long.

Job 28:28 (KJV)

Behold,

the fear of the Lord,

that is wisdom

and to depart from evil

is understanding.

Psalm 19:9 (KJV)

9 The fear of the Lord

is clean,

enduring for ever

the judgments of the Lord

are true and righteous

altogether.

Psalm 25:14 (KJV)

14 The secret of the Lord

is with them that fear him;

and he will shew them

Blessed is the man

that feareth the Lord,

that delighteth greatly

in his commandments.

6 And wisdom and knowledge

shall be the stability

of thy times,

and strength of salvation:

the fear of the Lord

is his treasure.

50 And his mercy

is on them that fear him

from generation to generation.

that there is one God;

thou doest well:

the devils also believe,

and tremble.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)

13 Let us hear the conclusion

of the whole matter:

Fear God,

and keep his commandments:

for this is the whole duty

of man.

How to WALK with JESUS

We all know there is a great urgency to live right by God.

The Lord JESUS showed us how.

Allow me to share with you a MAGNIFICENT find today -- a chapter in Scripture that can be a clear, and comforting guidepost, on how we are to conduct ourselves, and become pleasing in the eyes of God.

3 If ye then be risen with Christ,

seek those things which are above

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above,

not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead,

and your life is hid with Christ

in God.

4 When Christ,

who is our life,

shall appear,

then shall ye also appear

with him

in glory.

5 Mortify therefore

your members

which are

upon the earth

fornication,

uncleanness,

inordinate affection,

evil concupiscence,

and covetousness,

which is idolatry:

6 For which things' sake

the wrath of God cometh

on the children of disobedience:

7 In the which ye also walked

some time,

when ye lived in them.

8 But now ye also

put off all these;

anger,

wrath,

malice,

blasphemy,

filthy communication

 out of your mouth.

9 Lie not one to another,

seeing that ye have put off

the old man with his deeds;

10 And have put on

the new man,

which is renewed in knowledge

after the image

of him that created him:

11 Where there is neither Greek

nor Jew,

circumcision nor uncircumcision,

Barbarian,

Scythian,

bond nor free:

but Christ is all,

and in all.

12 Put on therefore,

as the elect of God,

holy and beloved,

bowels of mercies

kindness,

humbleness of mind,

meekness,

longsuffering;

13 Forbearing one another,

and forgiving one another

if any man have a quarrel against any:

even as Christ forgave you,

so also do ye.

14 And above all these things

put on charity

which is the bond of perfectness.

15 And let the peace of God

rule in your hearts

to the which also ye are called

in one body;

and be ye thankful.

16 Let the word of Christ

dwell in you richly

in all wisdom

teaching and admonishing one another

in psalms and hymns

and spiritual songs,

singing with grace in your hearts

to the Lord.

17 And whatsoever ye do

in word or deed,

do all in the name

of the Lord Jesus

giving thanks to God

and the Father

by him.

18 Wives,

submit yourselves

unto your own husbands

as it is fit in the Lord.

19 Husbands,

love your wives

and be not bitter against them.

20 Children,

obey your parents

in all things

for this is well pleasing

unto the Lord.

21 Fathers,

provoke not your children to anger

lest they be discouraged.

22 Servants,

obey in all things your masters

according to the flesh

not with eyeservice,

as menpleasers;

but in singleness of heart,

fearing God;

23 And whatsoever ye do,

do it heartily,

as to the Lord,

and not unto men;

24 Knowing that

of the Lord

ye shall receive the reward

of the inheritance:

for ye serve

the Lord Christ.

25 But he that doeth wrong

shall receive

for the wrong

which he hath done:

and there is no respect

of persons.

Colossians 3

King James Version

In summary:

1. Seek those things which are above -- CHRIST.

2. Mortify evils of the flesh and idolatry.

3. Put off anger, malice, blasphemy.

4. Forgive one another.

5. Put on charity.

6. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.

7. Be thankful.

8. Let the word of Christ dwell in you.

9. Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.

10. Wives, submit to your husbands.

11. Husbands, love your wives.

12. Children, obey your parents.

13. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger.

14. Servants, obey your masters.

15. Fear God.

16. Do everything heartily, as to the Lord.

The MAGNIFICENCE of GOD

Do we really know how magnificent God is?

Scripture tells us what we need to know.

7 He stretcheth out the north

over the empty place,

and hangeth the earth

upon nothing.

8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds;

and the cloud is not rent under them.

9 He holdeth back the face

of his throne,

and spreadeth his cloud

upon it.

10 He hath compassed the waters

with bounds,

until the day and night

come to an end.

11 The pillars of heaven tremble

and are astonished

at his reproof.

12 He divideth the sea with his power,

and by his understanding

he smiteth through the proud.

13 By his spirit he hath garnished

the heavens;

his hand hath formed

the crooked serpent.

14 Lo, these are

parts of his ways:

but how little a portion

is heard of him?

but the thunder of his power

who can understand?

Job 26:7-14

King James Version

3 Great is the LORD,

and greatly to be praised;

and his greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall praise thy works to another,

and shall declare thy mighty acts.

5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty,

and of thy wondrous works.

Psalm 145:3-5

King James Version

12 He hath made the earth

by his power,

he hath established the world

by his wisdom,

and hath stretched out the heavens

by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice,

there is a multitude of waters

in the heavens,

and he causeth the vapours to ascend

from the ends of the earth;

he maketh lightnings with rain,

and bringeth forth the wind

out of his treasures.

Jeremiah 10:12-13

King James Version

4 He telleth the number of the stars;

he calleth them all by their names.

5 Great is our Lord,

and of great power:

his understanding is infinite.

Psalm 147:4-5

King James Version

13 Let every soul be subject

unto the higher powers.

For there is no power but of God:

the powers that be

are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power,

resisteth the ordinance of God:

and they that resist

shall receive to themselves damnation.

Romans 13:1-2

King James Version

Why Did JESUS Love Sinners?

17 When Jesus heard it,

he saith unto them,

They that are whole

have no need of the physician,

but they that are sick:

I came not to call

the righteous,

but sinners to repentance.

Mark 2:15-17

King James Version

Scripture says we are all sinners.

But why does JESUS love us, still?

Scripture explains why.

16 For God so loved

the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him

should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

King James Version

29 My Father,

which gave them me,

is greater than all;

and no man is able to pluck them

out of my Father's hand.

John 10:29

King James Version

37 All that the Father giveth me

shall come to me;

and him that cometh to me

I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven,

not to do mine own will,

but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will

which hath sent me,

that of all which he hath given me

I should lose nothing,

but should raise it up again

at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me,

that every one which seeth the Son,

and believeth on him,

may have everlasting life:

and I will raise him up

at the last day.

John 6:37-40

King James Version

15 Then drew near unto him

all the publicans and sinners

for to hear him.

2 And the Pharisees

and scribes murmured, saying,

This man receiveth sinners,

and eateth with them.

3 And he spake this parable

unto them, saying,

4 What man of you,

having an hundred sheep,

if he lose one of them,

doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness,

and go after that which is lost,

until he find it?

5 And when he hath found it,

he layeth it on his shoulders,

rejoicing.

6 And when he cometh home,

he calleth together his friends

and neighbours,

saying unto them,

Rejoice with me;

for I have found my sheep

which was lost.

7 I say unto you,

that likewise joy shall be in heaven

over one sinner that repenteth,

more than over ninety and nine just persons,

which need no repentance.

Luke 15:1-7

King James Version

23 For the wages of sin is death;

but the gift of God

is eternal life

through Jesus Christ

our Lord.

Romans 6:23

King James Version

8 But God commendeth his love toward us,

in that,

while we were yet sinners,

Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

King James Version

2 And he is the propitiation

for our sins:

and not for ours only,

but also for the sins

of the whole world.

1 John 2:2

King James Version

15 Ye judge after the flesh;

I judge no man.

16 And yet if I judge,

my judgment is true:

for I am not alone,

but I and the Father

that sent me.

John 8:15-16

King James Version
