What Does it Take to Follow Jesus?

 

Do you know what it means to be a DISCIPLE of Jesus?

Can you bear the cross, and do what it takes?

Do you know the LORD?

Do you have love for the Lord?

Let the Holy SPIRIT of GOD shine His LIGHT upon us, so we may understand what Jesus means.

Things are clear to a heart that truly loves GOD.

This is how JESUS wants us to follow Him:

BEAR YOUR CROSS.

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, 

and come after me, 

cannot be my disciple.”

Luke 14:27

FORSAKE ALL.

“So likewise, 

whosoever he be of you 

that forsaketh not all that he hath, 

he cannot be my disciple.”

SELL ALL YOU HAVE.

"Now when Jesus heard these things,

Yet lackest thou one thing: 

sell all that thou hast, 

and distribute unto the poor, a

nd thou shalt have treasure in heaven:

YOU CANNOT BE OF THE WORLD.

“If any man come to me,

and mother, 

and wife, 

and children,

so shall ye be my disciples.”
